Research proves that early integration of music into your child's daily routine means improving his or her ability to think reason, create, and express. Music helps your child become a better learner. Kids move their feet, stand up straight, watch and listen for directions, respond, and count to the steady beat. All this with big, wide smiles!
Two Kindermusik® classes are currently offered:
- Village—for newborns through 18 months old
- Our Time—for children 18 months to 3 years old
Kindermusik “Village”
A unique blend of multilevel activities including creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component engage all of your baby’s senses, stimulating growth and development.
“Village” is for newborns through 18 months old and meets 40 minutes per week. The price for each session is $225.
Kindermusik “Our Time”
Watch as your child uncovers an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.
“Our Time” is for children 18 months to 3 years old. The class meets 45 minutes per week; the price for each session is $225 per student.

Instructor
Anne Craner, Foreign language teacher and Kindermusik teacher, earned her BA and MA in Art history at the Ecole du Louvre, Paris and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. From 1983-1996 she was a Research Associate in the Department of European Paintings at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and was a Curator at The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC. She has been the Spanish teacher at Old Town Montessori since 1999.
