Language classes at the Alexandria Academy provide a terrific jump-start for your child’s education by not only enhancing basic language skills, but also providing early exposure to other cultures.
Classes spend five weeks each on Spanish, French, and Latin language and culture. Several levels of language instruction are currently available:
“Mom and Me”—18 months to 3 years
Accompanied by a parent or caregiver, children learn Spanish, French, and Latin. Enthusiastic teachers make learning foreign languages fun by utilizing movement, song, and visuals as reinforcement. Students acquire basic language skills while learning about other cultures.
Classes meet 45 minutes per week; the price for each session is $225 per student. See our schedule for current times and registration instructions.
3–5 years, 5–7 years, and Advanced
Watch your child experience the joy of learning about a new language and other cultures. Through singing, story telling, and role-playing, children are immersed in Spanish, then French, and finally Latin. Students bring home a work of art they create that involves the culture studied.
Classes meet for 45 minutes per week; the price for each session is $225 per student. See our schedule for current times and registration instructions.
